I am proud to serve the people of Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District in the 111th Congress. Our country faces many significant challenges today as we work toward the recovery of our national economy and the reform of our health care system – challenges that I am prepared to tackle. During this Congress, I have supported recovery legislation that puts Iowans back to work, invests in Iowa’s industries and infrastructure, and provides assistance to out-of-work Iowans. This March, I supported comprehensive health insurance reform that is a major step forward in repairing this country’s health care system for all Iowans – families, children, young adults and seniors alike.
